Good evening one and all. I do hope you had a spectacular weekend.
I spent yesterday dressed as Princess Leia from Star Wars..
Here is the evidence!
It was nice to be reunited with my papa!
Hopefully we raised a few pounds for the Alzheimers Society.
My day was long yesterday.
But when I got home from work a nice pink parcel awaited...
I love parcels especially when they contain yarn. I spent some of my birthday money on some bargains and some of the yarn contains 59% recycled yan so that made me even happier.

They don't mind that I don't knit, only crochet!
They kept me up to date with my delivery and it came very quickly too.
So, after this excitement I went to the supermarket. ..deep joy.
I called in to see my mama and she seems to be a lot better.
She had found a bag of navy yarn that she donated to my cause.

When I got home I had to crawl to get to the gas meter to top it up. I noticed a little yarn dangling enticingly so I reached behind the foam swords (a tale for another day!)
And this is what I found..

To calm down I treat myself to a glass of port and lemonade .
I do like my port out of a decanter..that's just how I roll!
Almost forgot,, just popping back to the yarn..I received a text from my aunt. She cryptically asked me what kind of yarn I liked,.. well most of it lol. But it turns out she is going to get me some.
Wow..could my day possibly have got any better.
Just wait!
There is one more thing.
I retired to my boudoir to do a little crochet and put my phone on to the BBC radio app as Sarah Cox does a show on a Saturday night called sounds of the 80s . I sent a text in response to her request about what we did in the 80s.
It didn't get read out but that was ok. I carried on with my crochet flowers.
But then I got a unknown number call on my phone which I don't usually answer but I was distracted so I picked it up. Turns out it was one of the researchers from the show wanting a chat.
About ten minutes later another call from one of the producers asking if I would like a chat with Sarah!!!!!!!!!
Ermm ok then I guess was NOT what I said!
So after another 15 minutes or so my phone rang again and there I was on Radio 2 talking to Sarah Cox.
Omg Omg
I was such a giddy kipper after that it took me another hour to get to sleep which was bad news as it was gone midnight so far past my bedtime.
Consequently I have yawned a little more at work today. But I made it through.
Tomorrow I am going for an assessment to get onto a course run by my company to help me progress to a higher position so please send out nice helpful vibes for me.
I am just going to crochet a couple more leaves before bed. My wreath should be finished by the weekend or at least ready to be assembled by my day off.
