That is just how I feel. Just had a lovely bubbly bath whilst listening to the howling wind outside! It certainly came with a bite today.
I hope you all managed to keep warm today. I had the day off and have got a bit done. I went to the bank this morning to sort out an account for the etsy shop. That was quite exciting. The chap I saw was very helpful and showed me all of my direct debits. So have managed to cull a few things to save a few pounds too😆
I then went to Ilkley and called in to see my mama. She is ailing with a nasty cough and the remnants of a cold. Poor mama. I hope she feels better soon.♡
I managed to get the rest of the yarn I need for my Flowery love heart wreath.
yay. The colours look lovely together too. Whilst I was in Boyes I had a quick look through their stylecraft patterns with a vain hope they would have 9090 . I ploughed through 8 or 9 folders with no joy. Then found an unopened packet that had pattern number 9091 on the front. GULP could it be????
I asked the lady if it would be ok to open the packet and three patterns in I found it Stylecraft 9090. And yes I did squeal a little!
Happy me!
On the way home I went via cow and calf rocks again to try and capture it with a little blue sky.

I was using my old camera and the date was wrong!I Google it and figured out how to alter it for future outings!

So... The owl is hooting a little outside within earshot of my bedroom. It is a tawny owl . I checked on the rspb app!
Also had the joy of seeing a Red kite soaring above me today. I do so love sseeing them.
Sigh.
Made some rather delicious carrot,sweet potato, chilli and coriander soup. Can't wait to have some for my lunch tomorrow at work.
Oh and the fancy dress dilemma has been concluded. I have purchased a flat white sheet which my friend is going to sew up the sides for me. I will cut a slit for my head and put my hair in Danish pastry style things and hey presto Princess Leia (excuse the spelling😇)
Finally today I would like to mention Bones the TV show.
I watched the first episode of the new season this afternoon.
not going to write any spoilers if you haven't watched it yet...
